The church, known affectionately by its parishoners as "COOS", is located in Northeast Florida on the banks of the Saint John's River. The rector of the parish is Father John Palarine, and the associate rector is Mother Ronnie Willerer. COOS was founded 1880 by the well-known author Harriet Beecher Stowe and her husband Calvin. In terms of size, COOS has congregation of over 700 family units. Finally, COOS is a member of the Episcopal Diocese of Florida. Lexy was also honored during the service as a graduating senior from Stanton Preparatory School and will attend University of North Florida in the fall of 2012.
