Matthew Caine, Director of Music Ministry
Matthew Caine, a native of Pensacola, Florida, has served churches in Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina. Most recently he served Grace United Methodist Church in Columbia, SC, as Director of Music. While in South Carolina, he also served as Musical Director and Arranger for the St. Paul’s Players (a community theater troupe), Interim Artistic Director for the Dutch Fork Choral Society, Adjunct Professor of Music at Claflin University, and as a private voice instructor. Matthew has been privileged to conduct choruses and orchestras in the Southeastern United States and Europe.
Matthew holds the D.M.A. in Conducting from the University of South Carolina, the M.M. in Choral Conducting and Voice from the University of South Florida, the M.M.E .in Instrumental Music from Samford University, and the B.M. in Church Music from Birmingham-Southern College. He is also a certified music teacher (K-12) in both Alabama and South Carolina.
